The start is in the picturesque Istrian village of Korte, the highest point of both the 17 km and 35 km courses. After a short opening section, the route turns left onto a forest path and descends toward Cetore, where it crosses the road and continues toward Malija.

The trail leads past the Malija stadium, followed by an asphalt descent and a sharp turn onto a forest path toward Jagodje. After a short road section, the route turns left into a steep climb toward Mala Seva, then continues along gravel roads with stunning views of the sea.

A dynamic descent follows into Strunjan, passing through the tunnel and along the beach to the aid station. From there, the route begins the ascent to the famous Strunjan Cliff, offering some of the most beautiful views in Slovenia. The final section leads over Belvedere and then descends toward the finish at San Simon Beach in Izola.

The course is predominantly trail: 83% gravel and forest paths, 17% asphalt.
