The Obala Trail 11 km starts at the beautiful San Simon Beach in Izola. From the very first step, the route leads you along the seaside toward Belvedere, where a gentle and smooth climb begins, offering views over the Izola Bay. A fast and enjoyable descent follows into Strunjan, passing the campsite on the left and the salt pans on the right.
The course then turns right across a floating pontoon bridge by the sea and enters the protected area of the Strunjan Landscape Park, one of the most stunning natural treasures of the Slovenian coast. Here, a scenic ascent leads you toward the cliff, revealing one of the most iconic viewpoints in the country, Moon Bay, a must-see photo stop for everyone.
The panoramic trail then continues toward Belvedere and returns along the same pleasant path back to the finish at San Simon Beach in Izola.
The route is suitable for runners of all levels, with approximately 80% paved surface and the remaining part consisting of gravel and footpaths through Strunjan.

Registrations remain open until the limit is reached. Once the maximum number of runners is reached, registrations close automatically and no additional entries are possible, regardless of the announced deadlines.

- There is one aid station on the course (see elevation profile). Runners will have access to water, energy drinks and light food.
- At the finish, participants will receive drinks, light refreshments and a hot meal.
- Several checkpoints are positioned along the route.

Please check that you have all mandatory equipment when collecting your race bib. If any equipment is missing, the bib cannot be issued. Random gear checks may be carried out during the race. Missing equipment results in immediate disqualification.
