Obala Ultra Trail “powered by I Feel Slovenia” is an event that connects Izola, Koper, Piran and Hrpelje–Kozina — revealing the beautiful trails and natural treasures of Slovenian Istria to runners from around the world. Every year our story is co‑created by a team of exceptional volunteers — and this year we also need you!
Why join us?
Being a volunteer at Obala Ultra Trail is not just helping — it’s doing something special.
It is energy, community, nature, adrenaline … and the feeling that you are part of something big.
What we need help with
We are looking for reliable, motivated and positive individuals to help with:
- Setting up and cleaning up the event venue
- “Sweepers” and pre‑race trail checks
- Marshaling and guiding runners
- Working at aid stations
- Van / shuttle drivers
- Other organizational tasks
Everyone can find a role that suits them — together we make sure everything runs smoothly.
As a volunteer you receive
- OUT merchandise (t‑shirt or similar)
- Free meal and drink
- Accommodation (only for those who help multiple days of the event)
- Signed volunteer certificate
- Great company, new friends and an unforgettable experience
